Holy crap I have been busy. Just finished another game soundtrack, re-organizing my life basically, working a lot, and hopefully working on my next album sometime soon. I might disappear again for a while to make more music, but I need to catch my breath first. Whoof.
Last year, I was working on a film score with a fellow by the name of Petur K. Gudmundsson. His story is spectacular, and so is the film he’s spent the last two years of his life creating. “Heild” is available in its entirety OnDemand on Vimeo. I composed and produced the original score for this film, working directly with Petur over email and Trello. He is one of the most amazingly inspirational people I’ve ever met, and I worked with him on this film during a particularly difficult time in my life – though nowhere near as difficult as his life has been. I’ll always deeply appreciate the work I was able to do with Petur, on what he describes as Iceland’s very first non-narrative documentary on its culture and, most of all, its landscape.
