Just finished up my submission for RPM 2015 with the OP-1, so now it’s back to Scientific Method Vol. III. I hugely appreciate your patience, but I promise that I’ve been working harder on this album than any album previous. It’ll be pretty weird, but I’m happy with the way it’s turning out.
This year I decided to enter the Record Production Month Challenge, which offers the month of February to create an entire album – 10 tracks or 35 minutes minimum. I imposed my own limitation on top of that, allowing myself only one piece of equipment: The OP-1 by Teenage Engineering.
It was a nice break from working on Scientific Method III, just getting my hands dirty making music rather than mixing and agonizing over detail. Now that it’s over, though, I’m hungry to get back into the world of every instrument and sound imaginable.
